Bulldogs up to # 2 in latest AP rankings

ATLANTA — Georgia moved up one spot to # 2 in the latest AP poll. It comes after the Bulldogs destroyed Florida in Jacksonville Saturday, 42-7.

Alabama remains top-ranked after an off-weekend. But the Bulldogs did receive two first-place votes.

The door was opened for Georgia to climb after Penn State lost to Ohio State. The Nittany Lions fells to # 7.

# 1 through 5 is Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Notre Dame. # 6 through 10 is Clemson, Penn State, Oklahoma, Miami (FL), and TCU.

Ahead on Tuesday comes the first rankings by the College Football Playoff selection committee.
