There’s recruiting and there’s the way that the University of Georgia goes about recruiting the nation’s elite prospects.
The big headline for today will read that UGA has offered Class of 2026 ATH Amari Sabb out of New Jersey. That’s the class of 2026 just in case anyone was wondering if they needed to read that last part again.

That ranks among the earliest instances, if not the earliest, that UGA has ever offered a prospect. Luminaries like DeAngelo Gibbs and Owen Pappoe each received their offers from UGA in the late spring or early summer prior to the ninth-grade seasons. Those two were almost out of or just out of middle school. Arik Gilbert also got an offer from UGA in right about that same time period of his ascendant career, too.
