Zion Logue, Georgia defenders get the last laugh on anonymous coaches: ‘They said 50?’

Safe to say the Georgia defense was well aware of the comments made by some anonymous coaches to ESPN earlier this week.

“I won’t be surprised if Tennessee scores 50,” one coach told ESPN’s Pete Thamel. “Georgia’s front is average. Their back end is below average.”

Tennessee did not finish with 50 points. Nowhere close, actually. The Volunteers had just 13 points, losing 27-13. It was the worst game of the season for the Tennessee defense and the performance from Georgia’s defense was a big reason why.

As defensive tackle Zion Logue walked off the field, he recognized the fact that Tennessee did not score as many points as the anonymous coach indicated.
