Fried leads Braves over Yankees for 8th win in 10 games

Atlanta lefty Max Fried went six strong innings as the Braves downed the Yankees 3-1 in New York.

Fried improved to 7-3 as he allowed six hits and one run while striking out four.

Gametime temperature was 92 degrees, the warmest at Yankee Stadium in almost three years.
