COBB COUNTY, Ga — If you are an Atlanta Braves fan, by now you know they won Game 4 of the National League Championship series 10-2 over the Los Angeles Dodgers late Thursday night.

And you know the win gives the Braves a commanding three games to one lead in the best-of-seven series.

That means Friday night’s game, should the Braves win, would put them in the World Series for the first time since 1999.

First pitch for Friday’s game is supposed to be at approximately 9:07 p.m. Eastern time, which means the game likely will not end until early Saturday morning. It also means Braves fans may not find out their teams fate until they wake up in the morning, if they don’t stay awake for the game.

Channel 2 Sports Director Zach Klein has been in Arlington, Texas for the entire series. After Game 4 ended, Braves Manager Brian Snitker mentioned the pitching staff did not announce which pitcher would start Game 5 only saying that anyone who didn’t pitch in the game would be available for Game 5 if needed.

TRENDING STORIES:

For those keeping track, the weather forecast for Arlington Friday night says it is expected to be cool, with winds expected to be around 5mph, much lighter than Thursday nights game which often resembled a wind tunnel.

Over the course of the series, fans have been gathering in the courtyard just outside Truist Park with some fans purchasing tickets to go inside to watch the game on the big screen.
