Another Alpha hurricane season

Wilfred the earliest named 21st Atlantic storm on record, prior was “Vince” on October 8, 2005

Wilfred has been named out in the Atlantic Ocean, so when the next system in the gulf gets named, we go to the Greek alphabet and ALPHA.

22 scadoo. Twenty-two is close to a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico, it may become a hurricane Sunday, before weakening back to a TS.

IF it eventually hits the U.S. it will tie 1916 for the record number of tropical cyclone land hits in a single season at nine.
