Smoke from western wildfires creates haze over metro Atlanta

ATLANTA — If you saw a haze over the city this morning, it wasn’t morning fog.

Smoke from huge wildfires that are burning out of control across the west have drifted over the east coast.

Channel 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan said that despite the sunshine, people with breathing issues like asthma or allergies probably want to limit their time outside for the next few days.
